Vikings Second, USF Fourth and Fifth In NSIC Track Poll
BURNSVILLE, MN -- Minnesota State men’s and the University of Mary women’s teams were the top choices in the 2012-13 NSIC Indoor Track and Field Preseason Coaches’ Poll.
On the men’s side the Mavericks garnered eight first place votes and 97 points. Augustana was second with 86 points and a first place vote while MSU Moorhead was a close third with 85 points and two first place votes.
On the women’s side, University of Mary was the coaches’ choice with 142 points and ten first place votes. Augustana was second with 125 points followed by Winona State (117) and Minnesota State (104). Winona State and Minnesota State both received a first place vote.
