Two great games were played Saturday night at Howard Wood Field as the annual Presidents Bowl took place.

First the Washington Warriors continued their winning streak with a 28-17 win over O'Gorman. While most believed the Warriors were unstoppable, O'Gorman was doomed by a couple of turnovers that occurred in the red zone. Take those away and add some points on the board and the outcome could have even flipped. Washington has now won 25 consecutive games, while O'Gorman proved that they are the number two team in 11AAA.

It was the Roosevelt Rough Riders who pulled away in the second game over Lincoln 23-7. Roosevelt dominated the game and led 23-0 during the fourth quarter when the rain started falling. Lincoln was able to get a late touchdown on a reception to tight end Zach Hanson from quarterback Terel Eisenbraun. Preston Eisenbraun left the game in the second quarter due to a knee injury. Roosevelt is now 2-1 on the season, while Lincoln has dropped to 0-3.
