Who is Chris Matthews? That is what so many fans were saying during Super Bowl XLIX as they watched the Seattle Seahawks wide receiver have a break out game.

The 6 foot, 5 inch wide receiver was working at Foot Locker in 2014 and now had a huge game in Super Bowl XLIX.

Matthews went undrafted out of the University of Kentucky and was ultimately signed by the Cleveland Browns in 2011 but was cut before the beginning of the season.

After that short stint in the NFL, Matthews traveled north to Canada and the CFL for two seasons.

Then after being cut from the CFL, Matthews got a job as a security guard at a Foot Locker, little to know come Super Bowl XLIX that he would be a security blanket for Seahawks QB Russell Wilson.
