With a day before the NFL Draft, time may be running out if the Minnesota Vikings will trade or won't trade Adrian Peterson.

After Tuesday's game between the Dallas Mavericks and Houston Rockets, Dallas' television station, WFAA-8, asked Peterson about coming to play for the Cowboys,

"It would be nice," Peterson said. "I've got family here; my dad's here. But I'm under contract, so we'll see."

When Tuesday in a pre-draft news conference, Cowboys owner Jerry Jones didn't sound like he was interested in trading for Peterson during the NFL Draft this weekend.

"I wouldn’t dare talk about that," Jones said.

Vikings general manager Rick Spielman sounds like he plans on keeping Peterson, too.

Minnesota has the 11th draft pick in the first round. The NFL Draft begins Thursday, in Chicago.
