Korey Williams has signed with the Canadian Football League and will play for the BC Lions.

Williams had a great indoor season with the Sioux Falls Storm during the 2012 season after being released by Omaha Beef.

When coach Kurtiss Riggs joined the Sports Buffet last season, Riggs was quick to point NFL or CFL future for Williams as he was quick to make his mark as a premier player in the Indoor Football League as a receiver, running back and kick returner.

During the 2012 season Korey played in 10 games for the Storm and accounted for 1,329 all purpose yards and 18 touchdowns.

The 2013 IFL Season kicks off this Friday when the Storm travel to Green Bay to take on the Blizzard in a rematch of last year’s United Conference Championship Game.
