Lincoln High School Girls Basketball Team Captures the Class AA State Championship

The Sioux Falls Lincoln High School Girls Basketball team captured their first Class AA State Championship in Rapid City.

They defeated the defending state champions Mitchell on Friday night 51-36 behind eight 3-pointers on the way to victory.

The #5 seed Lincoln Patriots defeated #4 Sioux Falls Roosevelt in the opening round, Aberdeen Central in the Semi-Finals on their way to their championship appearance and eventual victory over Mitchell.
